Kinds of doa’n honey:
There are different kinds of doa’n honey according to the region from which the bees produce that honey:
·       Sidr honey (lotus): it derived the name from the sidr tree (lotus tree) from which the bee produce this honey from. This kind is considered the best kind of honey at all.

       Sumra honey: it is produced from the sumra trees and it comes in after sird honey in quality.

       Marae’ honey (pastures):
this kind of honey does not produced from particular kind of tree, that is why it is called pastures honey. It is considered honey of medium quality and it is used more as food rather than medicine.

       Marbaehoney:
it is considered honey of good quality; however: it is produced with very little quantity.

Benefits of honey:
·       It is food of high value for children and adults. It doesn’t remain in the stomach for long time and easily digested and absorbed.
·       It compensates the sugars consumed in the body physical and mental activities.
·       It strengthens the heart.
·       It gives high energy which makes it very beneficial for athletes.
·       It normalizes blood pressure.
·       It has great role preventing from different diseases since it contain the prostaglandins the substance that prevents many diseases.

Some diseases honey can cure:
      Disorders of digestion system; it has the ability to minimize stomach acidy which can cure stomach ulcer.

       It has strong effect on liver diseases since it contains glucose which
raises sugar in the liver

  It functions like antibiotics.

      It’s been discovers that fatty acids in honey prevents active cells division
and that can prevent many cancer diseases
.
       It cures many of nervous system diseases such as sleeplessness
